Unique recipe

A hamburger is a type of sandwich that consists of a fried chopped cutlet served inside a cut round loaf. It is usually accompanied by a variety of condiments such as lettuce, ketchup and mayonnaise, slices of pickled cucumber, tomato or zucchini, raw or fried onions.

The most common "quick" food in the United States, the hamburger is far from American in origin. Scientists attribute its authorship to the Scythian nomads, who placed fried meat between two slices of bread. And the "king" of fast food arrived in the New World together with German immigrants: it was named, by the way, in honor of Hamburg, the second largest city in Germany. The official date of the sale of the first hamburger in the United States is July 27, 1900 - on that day, a New Haven deli offered city residents to buy a ketchup-flavored cutlet “sandwiched” between two pieces of bread. Initially, such food was the prerogative of the poor, but soon “fast food” establishments began to open all over the country, in which, not only food, but also service and customer change were fast. These catering establishments set a course for operational baby food - and for the always busy working class at that time, they became the best solution to the problem of where and how to feed the children quickly.
